Quick Fall Fine Motor Activity for Pre-K 3

While going through my fall decor items, I came across some fall leaf stickers I’d bought on clearance at the end of the season last fall.  I knew Pooky would want to play with them, so I threw together an activity.

There’s a good chance you already have the materials for this activity or can easily acquire them.

Materials Used:

  • one sheet each brown and white (or other color) construction paper
  • glue
  • leaf shape stickers

Set Up:

I cut out a simple tree shape from brown construction paper and glued it to a white background (but maybe blue would’ve looked better). I placed one sticker on the tree to demonstrate, and Pooky took over from there.

She couldn’t wait to use the stickers!

This activity was good for fine motor skill practice.

It also provided practice identifying the fall colors red, yellow, and orange.

I’m going to see if I can find an old picture frame to put it in and add it to our fall decor.
